💰 Convert to Assets

The spirit of BuildKey is to enable communities to support builders by trading and holding keys. In return, key holders gain access to the fast-growing project assets at a very early stage.

Builders can choose diverse ways to offer assets or privileges to key holders.

1. Types of Assets

Project assets could be diverse, including airdrops, tokens, points, NFTs, whitelists, etc. As the project builds, the value of such assets is fast growing.

2. How to Get Assets

There are two ways to earn assets from projects.

• Redeem Key With Upgradable Key-to-asset Ratio.
• Hold Key to Receive Key Holder Benefits.

🎊 2.1 Upgradable Asset Redemption

• Redeem Starts: Click 'Redeem' to redeem the keys for project assets. Once redeemed, the BuildKey will be transferred to the project's wallet address.

• Redeem Ends: Snapshot taken. To ensure you receive tokens at TGE, redemption usually closes before TGE. BuildKey not redeemed can still be traded for profit. Usually you can claim the tokens on the project page, or directly receive transferred tokens from the project. NOTE THAT: Make sure you monitor the Redeem DDL.

• Redeem DDL: Depending on projects, there may be a Redeem DDL for redemption. If missed, you cannot redeem the BuildKey for assets, but you can still sell the BuildKey for profits.

• Redemption Upgrade: Key-to-asset redemption ratio increases with the project’s mkt cap. The more BuildKey purchased, the more redeemable asset per BuildKey. Once the ratio upgrades, it will be auto applied on all BuildKey, including the redeemed BuildKey.

🎁 2.2 Hold Key to Receive Holder Benefits

Occasionally, by simply holding BuildKey, you will be automatically qualified for key holder benefits that are airdropped to your wallet. Your shares are calculated based on your total trading volume and BuildKey held at snapshot.

The more BuildKey, the longer you hold, the more shares you receive! The time of reception and rules are project-specific, so stay tuned!
